I found this metal Blue Bird Pies pan in the first house we bought in 1973 so I know it is at least 38 years old .

I love these old pie plates!! Although I don't eat pie (or make them) very much, I have a thing for pie pans. Makes no sense .. but it's always Pie Season!
I also love old pie pans, and I have to say, I prefer to eat pies over cakes! Something about having to place it in a window seal or a pie safe to cool enough to eat!
